Monteith Physio was established by Adam Monteith on July 1st, 2011. Adam, personally, has a very strong sports background, both in contact team sports and self limiting individual activities like running. More importantly, Adam, to this day remains very active. What this means to you is that Adam has actually experienced, first hand, the bulk of injuries that his patients present with. Whether it be an ankle sprain, muscle tear, shin splint, knee ligament tear, fracture, rotator cuff problem, joint dislocation, wrist extensor (or tennis elbow) complaint, low back or neck pain – you name it, Adam has personally dealt with it. He knows what it feels like to be the patient.
This insight into the pain experience and level of rehabilitation work required, when combined with his Masters qualification (a demanding, non compulsory, 2 year program a physiotherapist undertakes to better their knowledge, assessment skills & treatment techniques) give him the perfect grounding to successfully treat you. This knowledge and experience is passed onto each and every physiotherapist that is employed by the Monteith Physio group.
